Judy has been painting since 1981 and teaching since 1983, taking over the business side of this art in 1997. Judy runs the business and the art classes from her home in Glen Iris, Victoria. Judy has been made a Life Member of the Victorian Guild of China Painters (VGCP) and a member of Australian Porcelain Art Teachers (APAT). Judy has held office for many years in both organisations & has been President of each.
Judy runs classes teaching from a range of beginners to experts, three days a week and one evening session per week. Judy holds a monthly workshop, typically on a Saturday, when students concentrate on painting one subject for the day and enjoying lunch together.
Judy also runs an Appreciation of Art class for children aged 7 to 13 years of age by arrangement. Judy is a qualified judge of porcelain art and has won numerous prizes herself, the most prestigious being a 1st in Camberwell Rotary Art Show and The Masters section of the Royal Melbourne Show more than once. Judy exhibits from her home but has exhibited in every State as well as overseas. Judy has published many books on the art of porcelain painting. Judy is happy to do commission work.
